I don't always know what I'm looking for.

Sometimes it's a piece of light.
A branch.
A storm on its way.
Something that's almost not there.

I don't photograph to show something.

I photograph to stay with something.

I don't make photographs to explain the world.

Perhaps just to stay in it a little longer.

There isn't one way to look at these photographs.

They don't need to lead anywhere.

If a photograph makes you pause for a moment, that's enough.
