I don't always know what I'm looking for.
Sometimes it's a piece of light.
A branch.
A storm on its way.
Something that's almost not there.
I don't photograph to show something.
I photograph to stay with something.
I don't make photographs to explain the world.
Perhaps just to stay in it a little longer.
There isn't one way to look at these photographs.
They don't need to lead anywhere.
If a photograph makes you pause for a moment, that's enough.
